The Community Science Workshop and Makerspace is open Tuesday to Saturday at times indicated below. Your children can officially join 'Young Makers' here. Low cost music and art lessons are also offered. Please contact us to schedule for available times. Please call for holiday schedules.

SAM Academy is a 501(c)(3) public nonprofit located 12 mi SE of Fresno, CA in a rural area of the San Joaquin Valley, offering a rich learning environment in science, art, and music. SAM Academy offers after school, in-school, and summer STEM and Arts programs for all students. SAM includes a "Community Science Workshop," "Maker Space", music and arts studios, and a mobile science classroom. Highly qualified instructors guide kids in a 'making' approach to exploration of science and engineering concepts using inexpensive materials and tools in a collaborative community for innovation, exploration and experimentation. SAM Academy Music and Art studio provides a nexus between tradition, culture, STEM and the arts.
